iPart creation problem

Can anyone help me to create the 0.3" iPart version of this bolt (scale 1:2)

Changes made to the object itself whilst the iPart is selected in the table (browser) are affecting both skews

and

I don't understand why there are no parameters listed in the table itself that I can use to change it's dims

Was the part created incorrectly initially?

all best

The i in circle indicates an unresolved issue.

Repair Bodies does not resolve the issue.

I would start over from scratch...

Yeah I'm not sure why you are trying to start such a simple part like that. Modeling that from scratch would be quicker and make for a more robust model that will be easy to add to/modify in the future.

Garbage in = garbage out

Typically ipart tables require you to either manually add the parameters you wish to change between members or create them as named parameters in which they would be automatically included..

Hi! Just FYI, there is a Feature Recognition app on Inventor App store, free for all subscribers. It can help recognize simple geometry and convert it to features. It may be faster than create it from scratch.

Many thanks!
