I have updated Inventor to the latest version, and it displays the splash screen, and then just... stops.

Hi! Are you on 2019 and you have installed 2019.3 update? Please make sure all critical Windows updates are installed and .Net 4.7 is installed. Another thing to check is your entitlement. Please log on to Autodesk.com and go to your account and see the licenses you have.
