You can use "Collaborate" in Inventor to port your model to the Autodesk cloud (create a shared view) and send a link to your customer. Your client will see the model in a web browser and will be able to perform several operations with the model: view, cut, measure, explode, etc.
He can also take notes, write comments, etc., and you'll see all that back again, in the shared view.
In short, it can visualize and communicate with you.

Or, he can install a trial of Inventor. It will work for 30 days, after the trial ends, the inventor becomes a viewer if he starts with the proper icon. No license is required, just a free Autodesk account.
You can try yourself the viewer, search for the right icon.

Hi! Or, export it as dwf and view it on Autodesk Design Review (free) or viewer.autodesk.com.

Many thanks!
