Inventor Symbol Library mapped to local Design Data folder not shared network

Not sure what I might have setup incorrectly here, but the project file has the Design Data folder mapped to our share folder on the network, but when I create the shared symbol library it creates it in the local Design Data folder. I tried just cut/pasting the .idw file to the shared location, but opening the drawing it doesn't show up. Any ideas?

Application Options > File > Sketch Symbol Library folder

Hi bbuck

You can set the Sketch Symbol folder as was mentioned by sbixler, also, take in consideration that a command to Save All to Symbol Library is also an available option. To retain your folder structure (when transporting to a library), you can select the Retain Resource Folder Structure check box.

There is not such an option as far as I know, but this Inventor Ideas forum post proposes exactly that, and could use some additional votes.
