Inventor Studio transparent material fade out/fade in bug?

I'm working on an animation in Inventor Studio.  The assembly is constructed primarily of a semi-transparent material, Polycarbonate, Smoke.  When using the Fade function (Out/In), any component or assembly Fade is applied to loses its semi-transparency when outputting to individual frames with "Preview: No Render" checked.  I have animated several similar assemblies in prior releases with this method, and they all worked as expected.  If you actually render the frames the material behaves and appears correctly, that is, semi-transparent.  I believe this to be a bug.

See the attached animation of individual frames generated with "Preview: No Render" checked and stitched together in Blender.  The rendered slide does not exhibit this problem.

Any help/clarification would be greatly appreciated?

Any feedback on this issue?  This continues to be a major bug for me when generating animations.
