I have been trying for days to get inventor 2015 to work on my computer. I have a lenovo y50 with 8GB RAM and NVIDIA 860 GTX graphics card, so my specs should not be an issue. I am using windows 8.1. The first time I tried to install inventor it got about halfway (the DWG and Inventor desktop shortcuts had already appeared) and then told me I had network issues (My network was working fine for my browser and every other program I tried). I cancelled the installation. I retried using the virtual agent, which appeared to install ok, but said that I already had Inventor 2015 installed, so it didn't install it again.
The problem is: I double click the dektop shortcut for inventor, I get the 'loading wheel' cursor, then nothing. The program just stops trying to run. No error message, but the mouse stops showing the loading wheel. I check task manager to see if it is still booting up in the background, nope. I try the same thing with the actual application file in program files/autodesk etc. Same results. Please Help!
