Inventor Project Wizard - removing library paths

When going through the steps to create a new project file using the Inventor Project Wizard, on the Select Libraries dialogue box I have some old file paths I no longer want to see under All Projects. Is there a way to remove them so I don't see them every time I create a new project?

Sorry, should have posted an image from the start. But what I'm talking about are the file paths in the box here...

Some are from old library paths but have the same Logical name as our new ones, and I'd like to make it so the old ones don't show up here anymore.

I'm pretty sure that's only for removing libraries on the right hand side of the box I posted back to the left, so they're not in that specific new project. What I'm trying to do is remove some of them from the left hand side of the box, so we don't see them at all when trying to create new projects, and there's no way to do that from within that window. I'd like some of them removed because the file paths no longer exist.

I think I found the cause, though. Some of our old projects are in our Project Shortcuts file path, and the Libraries path hasn't been updated in those files yet. It looks like that dialogue box pulls all existing library paths for all project files in the Project Shortcuts path, because I ended up finding one and removed it from that path and no longer see it in the box.

Right now it'd be a waste of time to go through all those files to find the paths we need removed, so I guess I'll just leave it for now. Too bad there isn't a quicker way to do that or find the specific project files that need to be updated or removed.

Hi! Another option is to edit the ipj file in a text editor. Ipj file is basically an xml file. You should be able to find the section storing the old library path. You can remove them and save the file.

Many thanks!

To add to the post, Microsoft has a free utility on the website, "XML NotePad" which is great for editing XML files (or at least looking at them).

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

Just to be clear, we use multiple project files, one for every new project we get, and not just one main one that runs everything. So the issue isn't with not being able to change settings with one project file, it's the fact that we'd need to find all of our old project files that still contain the old library paths and update them all, in order for them not to show in that dialogue box. The changes are simple to make within the project manager by just activating each project file and updating the library path, but the part that makes this an issue is that there's too many to go through to find all the old paths. We wouldn't really need to do this anyways since a lot of the projects are closed out and completed.

Anyways sorry if this is confusing, it's not really a huge deal, but it would be nice to have an easy way to remove them from that list so we wouldn't have to make sure we pick the correct library with the new path every time we create a new project.

Thanks all for looking into it, though.
