I voiced my opinion with my sales
rep and a AD streamline sales guy.

I think the "pro" word is more the
problem.  If they would have said IV user's can buy this add-on for x
dollars maybe it would have been more accepted.  BUT, I agree 110%, this is
stuff that should be included in updates, new release's, etc of the existing IV
product.  THAT goes to us loyal customers who pay
for subscription.

I think AD has forgotten who built
there business.

Funny this showing up now ....

I scoffed at the release of IV7. Noting its fundamental lack of "note" worthy changes. By "note" I mean one worthy of more money and subscription. I was quickly beaten down by the IV faithful and told many a tale about functionality with Autocad 2004. Does little for me as a subscriber of IV. Now I see with the release of Pro my observations have hit home. Honestly didn't anyone else see this coming?? Welcome to never never land all or are we still in Kansas?

This action by AutoDesk has been a deal breaker for us. If this is the way
they do business IV will become our "web site" software" and we will move on
to another company that we feel to be more honest in their approach towards
their customers.
