Perform a license reset per this article.

Right mouse click on the Inventor desktop icon and select run as admin.

No problem..  It may be there and it might not as well.  It all depends on how far you get with the activation aspect of the software.

Did you run Inventor as a admin (like I indicated)?  If not try that and report back.

What specs are your machine?  What graphics card/driver version do you have?

Try running the "register" utility and re-register Inventor:

Re-Register Inventor

1. open a command prompt as administrator

2. type :"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2017\Bin\Inventor.exe" /install

 3. Wait for about 30 seconds & then retry Inventor

First you need to be logged in with Admin privileges, then RMB on the Start icon, you will then see the "Run" option, then type in CMD in the run box.

Sounds like a bad install. I would use the Autodesk "Un-Install" program that should be in the Autodesk program file (Start>Programs>Autodesk>Un-Install).

Reboot your computer and make sure that you are logged in with Administrative privileges to install Inventor. Make sure that you are current on all Windows updates for your computer.
