Inventor planes do not resize

There is something wrong with my XZ plane. Somehow its very large. Selecting auto resize does not help. This creates the problem that when I rotate my model moves out of the screen. If I click front then it zooms out. I tried 'set current view as front' but then it zooms out..

How can I fix this?

Auto-resize is likely exactly the opposite of what you really want.

How can you fix it - attach the file here and someone will fix it for you and describe the cause for the undesirable behavior.

No, there seems to be no other objects beside the assembly.

Attaching is difficult as it is a large assembly.

I suspect that some floater can be found.

If you zipped folder of parts and assembly is larger than 50Meg, you can upload to A360 and provide link here to download.

You might try to locate the floater yourself.

Save as >Save Copy As a new file.

Leave it on auto-resize.

Start deleting components from the browser.

Does it suddenly resize on removal of a particular component?

Tip (that works for me): I very very seldom have workplanes displayed - I can select them when needed from the browser without having them obscure my modeling environment.

Suppress files in it ...one by one ..and see if it goes smaller. If so the one it does ..is the one that has the issues

Thanks for the help! Suppressing did not reveal the problem. But while removing parts to create an compact assembly for upload I saw the planes disappearing.

The problem was in a sub sub assembly. A simple block caused the problem. Weird thing was that the part itself didn't have the problem. .
