Hey guys, i'm working on analysing the force of my pliers on a little part to see if the part would break. I applied forces on the handles but the handles do not seem to impact the force applied on the small cylindrical part. Could someone help me? i probably got something worng with the contacts but i cant figure out what. (It looks like the handles are not rotating at the pin)

The entire Pliers are Grounded (in the Simulation)

probably because there were 0 DOF...

If you want to make a Dynamic Simulation, you need some DOF.

But what i think you want is a Stress Analysis? (Static Simulation)

You can export a position from a Dynamic Sim into the FEA Environment, but thats only useful if you dont know the Forces/Positions in wich you want to create the Study.
