Hi there.
I'm using Inventor professional 2018.
I have a question in Drawing.
I would like to create leader text and then snap 90 degree.
But I have to press "Ctrl" key.
when I use Inventor in lower version, I didn't have to press "ctr",
Can I fix not to use "Ctrl", just always can be snap when I create leader text?
Thank you

If you are referring to the leader line itself, no I do not think so. The Ctrl feature was recently added as a new feature making it able snap to every 15 degrees. If you are taking about the ledger line, all you have to do is right click and pick continue after placing the end of the leader line to get a perfect horizontal ledger. It may be short but it is horizontal.

I seem to recall that the behavior was reversed in a recent (2015? 2016?) version. That is, it used to default to 15° increments, which could be overridden by the Ctrl key; then the functionality was changed to the current, which defaults to no indexing, and can be overridden by the Ctrl key.
Edit: or am I thinking of balloons?
Don't know how reliable my memory is, though. In any case, as far as I know, there's no way to change the default behavior.

Hi! Sam and John are right. The behavior was reversed in 2016 based on user feedback. Most people would like to have the freedom to drag or rotate the leader freely.
Many thanks!
