Today my problem here is a bit frustrating and strange. First, a bit of context: I have used Inventor since 3 years ago; have installed various versions of it (at the same time, in the same computer) and it was never problematic at all. I recently changed the internal SSD of my computer, and reinstalled Windows 10 22H2, I installed Fusion 360 at first and it installed straightforward, then I went to install Inventor 2024 and it just started to show a lot of problem messages while installation. Issues were about permissions on some folders in 'C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor 2024\'. I solved all of them by setting the ownership of those folders to 'Everyone', not just Admin accounts (in Properties > Security > Advanced). It continued the installation normally, it almost solved the problem completely, however, while waiting for the installation to complete I came to realize that Inventor Content Libraries installation had been cancelled.
It told me I could install it later re-running the Inventor Installer, but when I try to do so, the next message keeps appearing no matter what:
It is notable that the installation keeps going in the background until it reaches 97% (while still showing the error message), and it never completes after that. I looked for the solution to this problem on the internet, but nothing seems to help.
My last option was to cancel the installation of the Content Libraries and use Inventor without it, but a strange thing is that the folder supposed to contain those libraries is full of them (see picture):
But the last issue, is that when I open Inventor 2024, this appears on the Home tab and I haven't found any solution on the internet yet.
I haven't tried all Inventor features yet, but it appears to be working nice, at least the Part and Assembly environments, I can open Inventor files with no problem. It's just this Home tab that shows the error and I think it's related to the previous installation problem.
Any help? I would appreciate it a lot.
