Inventor Hole Callouts

Is there a way to set the hole callout to include the quantity of holes by default?

By default Inventor adds <QTYNOTE> to the hole text string.

 

Has somebody changed something with your software configuration?

 

Edit, the gotcha here is you have to use the Hole Feature and not simple extrude-cut holes.

Been in Inventor since 2020 with 2 different companies and this is the only note I've ever seen.  I'd really like place the # callout before the dia symbol since I have to do that all the time

You do have some control over these in the Style Manager, under your Dimension Styles, Notes & Leaders.  Not sure exactly how much control, but maybe take a look here:
