Inventor Gimbal does not orient to freeform object - like in Fusion

if i want to add freeform faces, the gimbal orients centered so i have a uniform movement. in inventor it does orient at an vertex - which makes it not really working....

how can i solve that?

Hi!

A simple way, and if it fit's for you.... You can finish the freeform, and then rotate it using "Direct" tool....

If you want to do that inside the freeform enviroment, just select all faces (drag a selection window), select "Edit form" tool, and rotate the form.

Hi Simon,

You would like to rotate the Freeform body, right? If yes, in Edit Form dialog, you can set the Selection Filter to Body and then rotate it however you want. Is it what you were looking for?

Many thanks!
