Inventor Drawing Layer won't Switch Off

Hi,

I have a drawing with a detail view. I wanted to hide the detail views boundary so I switch that layer off. But the detail boundary remained there. I have since tried turning all the layers off, but the detail boundary remains there.

Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

I could re-created the detail, but I have spent some time adding sketches, notes, sketched symbols etc so I'm loathed to do this.

FYI when I add a new detail view the the boundary layer behaves as expected.

thanks,

John

Hi!

Sorry... i get it, you only want to hide the boundary, not the detail itself...

All the files (drawing and parts), are all migrated to the same version?

******

Have you tried to suppress it?

Hi John,

I suspect there is a bug or the detail view is corrupted. Please share the files in zip here. The forum experts can I can take a further look to understand the issue better.

Many thanks!
