Inventor Animation - Render Dialog Box doesn't allow Output Selection

I have created a model, and am trying to create an animation, driving two independent constraints. It plays fine from the Animation timeline (forward and reverse), but the Render Animation dialog box does not allow an output location/filename/filetype to be selected (nothing happens when I click on the explorer icon in that box on the output tab.) I am able to drive either of the constraints outside of the studio environment and record that animation, but not the animation. Any suggestions as to why an output might not be selectable?

What happens if you click the Render button shown in the image that you attached?

Are you not presented with the Save dialog box with Save as type:

Can you attach your assembly here?

What version of Inventor (including Service Pack number)?

clicking on the Explorer File Icon should bring up a save dialogue box, as well as when selecting the Render button.

When you select Render what happens?

Are you using two screens, does the pop-up come up on the other screen or have you undocked from two screens to one?

If you can take screencast of the evens that might shed some light on what's going on.

Can you please press the Alt button to check if the dialog is hidden somewhere? If that does not work can you share your model so that we can look into? Thanks. @LishuangLu

Thank you for the responses.

When I click the File Explorer, nothing happens; there is no pop-up dialog prompt for save-as-location and filename/type. 

When I click Render, nothing happens. I have tried all different options in this Render box, resolutions, cameras and lighting, frame rate, etc.

I am using Inventor Professional 2018 64-bit edition, Build 171, Release 2018:1 - Date Wed 06/28/2017
I tried undocking and using a single display and it stayed the same. I have restarted the program and the computer, but it stayed the same.

I can not share my model, but will create a different basic model and see if the animation works for that.

Was this ever solved? I'm currently facing the same issue. Would greatly appreciate any help at all, my situation appears to be the exact same as the one described here.

Everything in red doesn't respond at all to being clicked (or typed in, for the dialogue box). I've messed around with every setting in the render animation popup and I've restarted inventor and my PC, yet I'm still unable to proceed.
