After installing Inventor 2026 I can no longer change the color of the background to other then the default ones. When I made a personal color scheme and there changed the background color it just default to green if I use gradient and to white if I use 1 color. Do someone else have the same problem or is it just me?

Hi Olof,

Did you import the options or you set them manually? Try exporting the options as an xml file and send it to me directly (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com). I would like to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

Hi I've installed 2026 and I'm also having trouble with color schemes: When I create a custom color scheme, the color settings randomly changes itself just after applying them. See below, the first picture is the option I choose, the second one is just after applying and opening again. I also  tried rebooting Inventor and PC, the problem occurs every time I change the color scheme settings, and every time, it sets random colors on sketch entities.

I can attach multiple examples for this behavior/bug. Does autodesk has a solution yet?

I've had issues in the past where I've changed the background and it didn't do anything. I had to switch to a difference scheme and switch back for it to work. I thought they'd fixed that now though.

Hi Olof,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

This is a known problem, tracked as INVGEN-84351, and our developers are currently investigating it. We hope to have a fix available soon.

It appears that the issue is related to the Windows 'Region' setting. If the region is set to 'English (US)', the problem does not seem to occur. Could you please check your region settings and let me know if you observe any different behavior?

Best regards,
Maulik

As you can se in the picture the background defaults to blue/green even thou that is not the one I selected.

Hi everyone,

I just got a phone call from Autodesk after I escalated the case where they informed me that this issue will be resolved in the next update.
