Inventor 2025 random crashes

Inventor randomly freezes on me, and since it never crashes to desktop I am never able to submit a crash report. I am forced to close it from Task Manager.

The freezes are always at random. Earlier this morning I was measuring between two points. Just now it froze as I was rotating the model. Yesterday it froze once when I closed the rendered window in the Studio environment. 

Inventor 2025.2.1 build 293

pc specs:

Intel i7-9700K

Windows 11 Pro 64-bit 24H2

64gb ram

RTX 3060 12 GB

Hi! We have heard reports about random crashes in Win 11 (24H3). A few things to check. Please make sure all critical Windows updates are installed and the graphics driver is updated. Go to the PC vendor site and install all critical updates applicable to your machine.

Disable any performance ability (overclock or turbo) on the machine. Make sure the graphics card has adequate RAM (8GB+). Go to Windows Appearance and Performance Options. Set the followings accordingly.

I think I found the source of the freeze (no crash to desktop). I always have Plex running in Chrome to stream music from my PC at home. I closed the chrome tab that had Plex running and now Inventor doesn't randomly freeze. So maybe Plex/Chrome was fighting Inventor for system resources? Inventor did crash a little big ago but it was a CTD and gave me the option to submit a report.

So for the past hour I have had Chrome closed and absolutely no issues with Inventor freezing or Crash to Desktops.

ok, so I've had Task Manager open all day on my second monitor. Inventor will freeze as soon as Windows puts another app into Efficiency Mode.

Interesting... we have a pretty active issue going on in another thread...

This particular topic didn't give details of the crash. I am wondering if it is all related.
