Inventor 2025 3D PDF export problem

I am trying to export an .stp file drawing to a 3D pdf and get the following error:-

“The saved file is missing from the storage location (E:\\drawing name\drawing name\drawing name.iam)"

This is the file location on the drive, and it ends with the drawing name with the extension of .iam?

Weirdly it seems to want to build a file structure using the drawing name twice for the "File Output Location". So it wants to use - E:\\drawing name\drawing name\drawing name.pdf

Hi! Are you using the 3D PDF Export command included in Inventor Professional? Or it is from a 3rd-party took?

Many thanks!

Hi Dave,

I am sorry I am not seeing the behavior on my machine. Could you record a short video that illustrates the behavior?

Many thanks!

I`ve inserted a video below, hopefully this works. Its odd how it just adds 2 more folders on to the location for no reason.

Hi! Many thanks for sharing the video! Does it happen to the specific assembly? Or any assembly behaves this way?

Thanks again!
