Inventor 2023 Combine tool doesn't work

When I try using the Combine tool it always opens the window (see attached file) that says:

"Bodies could not be combined, the component needs to feature at least two bodies!"

The message occurs independet of zero, one or two pre-selected bodies, there is no chance of entering usual command window.

Any tips or similar experiences? thanks for your support  \m/

Hi!

can you post the file?
How can we help you with just an error message?

If you haven't checked already, one thing you can do is check whether you actually have multiple "solid bodies" versus just multiple separate sections of material which are considered the same "body".

Easiest way to check is to open the "solid bodies" folder in the browser tree and see if there are multiple solids listed.

Hi! The geometry might have some quality issues. Press Ctrl+F7 (make sure you have C:\Temp\ folder). A small dialog will come up. Scroll to the bottom. Is there any bad body reported?

Many thanks!
