Inventor 2022 Updates Not Installing

I'm running Inventor 2022 but when I try to install the latest updates I get the following message.

bhudson4XNR5_0-1636575271863.png

I've tried waiting and installing later, and restarting my computer with all other programs shut down and it does not update.  I'll get the same message for the 2022.1, 2022.1.1, and 2022.2 updates.   Currently I am running just barebones Inventor 2022 and everything works fine, its just trying to install the updates that is giving me problems.

So far I'm the only one in our group of engineers with this problem, and we all run essentially the same machines and same software.

Any thoughts of what to try to get it installed?

Some other application running an install process at the same time (Error 1618).

You can try installing as administrator, or disable the Windows Installer (updates may be on the way):

If that does not work, kill the MSIexec.exe process:

It may also be related to having the install package located at your network and not from your own PC:

Hello @bhudson4XNR5,

Have you installed all the Windows updates?

Regards,

That seemed to do it.  Windows installer was running without me realizing it.
