Inventor 2022 slower than previous versions when creating new files, ect.

Hi,

Since we switched to Inventor 2022, half august, we noticed slow performace on the follwing:

Opening a new empty template part file [takes 4 to 8 secconds]

Even loading the template dialog box takes long, you can see him loading the  [takes 2 to 4 secconds]

Exporten an square face 500x500mm to dxf file takes 10 seconds.

On previous releases were these task  directly.

Saving files in general takes also longer, but this is hard to measure.

We already tried a lot:

Update all drivers

Update bios

Uninstalled all Inventor versions and did this:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Perfo...

Emptyed:

%Temp%

C:\Temp

Reinstalled inventor 2022 via the autodesk app.

On 1 computer we could fix the issue by doing all above. On other computers the problem is still there.

We have now 2 brand new computer who have been bought and formatted in the last week and one is ok and one is slow.

We made a screencast of this issue:

https://autode.sk/30H1g4y

Any ideas how we could fix this?

Hi! I am not aware of such behavior. A few things to check. Are the style libraries migrated? Do you have any external iLogic rule running when starting a new file? Try disabling all add-ins. Does it speed up?

If nothing helps, you may want to install Microsoft Process Explorer to see what exactly Inventor.exe was doing during starting up a new file.

Many thanks!

Hello  Johnson Shiue,

Thank you for your reply.

We tried disabling all addons but this gives no differance.

Inside the part template there are no ilogic rules or external rule being triggered.

We also tried to do Microsoft Proces Explorer, but it unclear what and where to look for. We made a screencapture for the a tab wich shows: "Qt5core.dll!Q thread:stat+0x1f0" in red color.

Hi,

This problem dissappeared on its own.

Still unclear what caused it or fixed it.
