Any ideas on the following behaviors is appreciated.
On placement of Hole the bolt is recessed and does not allow multiple holes to be selected.
Hello Alan,
thank you for letting us know, you are right, Autodrop for countersunk bolts placed as Linear or By Point used to be correct and placement / constrains / position is wrong now.
This issue is tracked in our trecking system as INVGEN-64455

Hi @A.Acheson
based on the INVGEN-64455 we are trying to improve observed behavior, but let me explain, show "first aid" way:
In Inventor 2020 BC was created with BC subassembly. The BC bolt constrain mechanism worked well for all bolt types, countersunk included. BC bolt constrain mechanism relies on BC subassembly
One/ two releases ago we changed BC behavior, we allow to generate BC without subassembly. This option (without subassembly) is the default one in R 2022, R 2023. Since BC bolt constrain mechanism was originally designed for using BC subassembly, it could have trouble in case of thin plate + countersunk bolt
So as "first aid" you can generate BC with subassembly (as it used to be by default one/ two releases ago)
So when you create BC with subfolder now (Inventor R 2022, R 2023), countersunk bolt is placed correctly as it used to be.

Thanks for looking in to this case Jan. The inventor version I am using is INV 2022 with no updates. I am still waiting to update to the latest release. In the mean time here is another image using point location and not using sub assemblies. As shown in the image one bolt is placed in the center of the sketch and not on the points selected, washer and nut are placed on points selected.
