Thanks for asking about this!
It looks like I failed to get a critical piece of information in the What's New. The enhancement is around the use of extrude with the To/All/To Next termination options.
Previously, the Taper HUD would display even when the field did not have focus. So it was modified to activate the HUD only when the field has focus.
I'll go back and update the What's New to include that info.

Thanks for the reply.
I compared 2021.2 and 2021.2.
The behavior of the HUD being active in field focus was the same in both versions.
I'm waiting for a HELP that can clarify the behavior.
