Inventor 2019 Missing Material from Material Browser

I have finish my assembly and wanted to apply material to each part for stress analysis. But, my material list is empty. How do I get material?

Because you have changed the appearance but not the material of what the part is made up of...

Change it by selecting a material on the left drop down at top ribon where save are etc... It says material on it.

Hi! Based on the Material Browser, it looks like you do not have a material library defined in your active project. Here is what you need to do.

1) Close all Inventor files.

2) Go to Get Started -> Project -> look at "Material Library" and "Appearance Library."

I bet you are missing a Material Library. You can use the default Inventor Material Library. It should be stored in "C:\Users\Public Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2019\Design Data\Materials." If you cannot find the file, it means Inventor was not installed properly. You will need to do Repair Install (Control Panel -> All Programs -> Autodesk Inventor 2019 -> right-click -> Uninstall/Change) or Reinstall Inventor so you get the material library.
