Inventor 2018 will not open

I tried installing Inventor 2018 using a student key. I downloaded the auto-installer and it said "0b/s" forever so I tried the browser download and went to bed. I awoke to the three separate installer files downloaded. I ran the first one, gave it the necessary directory, and it downloaded the Desktop App to do the rest. Once the DA was open I was able to run the updater and update it as needed. I then tried to run it, it opened the splash screen and closed. After that I decided to google the issue. I found an answer saying to repair the files, did, same result. I tried to reinstall, did, same result. I tried to run the Inventor.exe /install with CMD in admin mode, did, same result. Nothing seems to work.

 

I'm running Win7, 64bit, with GTX 1060, i7 4790k, 32gb ram, all drivers up to date.
