Inventor 2018 Part Not Visible In Drawing

Hi

I'm using Inventor 2018. i have created a part which do not have any surfaces in it.(see ipt,ipt2)

when i tried to create drawing out of it, i could not see the view. (see drw).

please help me out on this.

My suggestion would be to edit that view, go to the view tab and turn on tangent edges.

i tried the tangent edges already!! No luck with that too.

Hi! This is a bug I believe. Please attach the file here so I can follow up with the project team and see what we can do. In the meantime, you can try a trick to see if it works better. Use Split command and select the origin plane passing the seam edge and split the faces. I believe the views will be displayed correctly.

In the Edit Drawing View Window, there's a 4th tab called Recover Options, under that are boxes for Including Surface Bodies and/or Mesh Bodies.  See if either of those work.  If not, try looking in the Drawing Browser and make the part visible there instead of in the model itself.
