Inventor 2018 cable & Harness View Issue?

I was working on my first cable and harness assembly in 2018, and it started out normal but then all of a sudden my view when I went to edit the harness looked different. It used to keep all of the parts looking normal and not transparent/wire looking. Any way to not have it looked like this?

Have you changed your "tools...application options... display tab... Inactive Component Appearance percentage value"?

Typically when you edit something in the context of an assembly anything thats not part of that part or part of that subassembly can be set to go transparent to give a visual identification that its not part of what you are editing..

If thats not it can you post the iam file and all associated ipt files (use pack and go or just zip up all the files so we can investigate)?

I do have a percentage on it, but I didn't change it this morning and from one time editing to the next, within a 5 minute period, the image changed. When I put 100% it works the way I am used to it.

And what version of Inventor are you using? and when did you last update?

There was a bug in that anything over 66% was shown as 100% opaque.. So it may been that the bug is now fixed so now you are seeing the difference..
