Hi, I would like you to help me with a problem that I have when doing the constrain

I would like to know how to do so that a spring that is positioned on an axis can rotate one of the legs and the other is fixed

Thanks for your help

Hi Cris
Sorry to bother you but I am trying to recreate the file you sent me because I have another version of inventor, I have problems in being able to cut the spring in 4 parts as you did, please watch the video

Hi,

I am not sure why this cannot be done in 2018 like I did it in 2019.

In general idea is to have two parts of the spring shearing same coordinate system.

To overcome problem you show in the video you can derive whole spring in to new part and use simple extrude to remove part you do not want.

This will work 100%
