Inventor 2016 - Cannot edit/constrain section line?

In previous releases, I could RMB on a section line, select edit, and then edit a section line in a sketch (which would be attached to the view I was taking the section from). In 2016, I'm finding that this same command brings me to a sketch attached to the base view, but the section line remains in phantom, and cannot be constrained (either by dimensions, or geometric constraints). Even if I could, the "Project Geometry" icon is grayed out, so I can't project anything in the view to constrain the section line to. Is this "working as intended", or should the old functionality be there? Is there some new method of constraining a section line that I'm missing?

Found a work-around. Right-clicking on the section line itself and selecting "Edit" doesn't seem to work currently, but double clicking on the associated sketch in the browser to edit it DOES appear to function properly.

You are right, i noticed it last week too.

Moreover there is a behavior that i don't like.

Right clicking the section line there is a "Edit" sketch option... but if you choose it in the browser is created a new external view sketch.

Why?

Is it intended on purpose?

Just found this issue during the week.

I cant see this is intended, it must be a bug. .

This is really an obvious bug. Adesk, please hotfix this asap. Until I found this post, I had to delete and recreate a complicated section which was a PITA.

You can fix that with the new Autodesk update.

All will be fine.

Just install this:
