Inventor 2011 using with windows 10

Hi

I am using Inventor 2011 on windows 7 (64bit). We have few network licences that run on the same windows.

Now windoes 7 is pushing to be upgraded to win10. But if I do the upgrade, i will not be able to use Inventor 2011 as this version is not supported or run on win10.

Than I will be pushed to sepnd another 1000's in upgrades that I dont reaaly need ringht now, even though my licence aggreement is paid to be used forever )strickly speakeing).

What do I do, and how do I do it?

No, I dont have active subscription, the company that I am working with stoped that a while ago.

The computer that I am working with is ready to install the win10 and I am just delaying it now. but if I have to restart the computer, than win 10 will install automaticly, which is what I dont want right now.

Microsoft is apparently in some instances your computer does automatically upgrade to windows whether you want it or not

what do to: talk to your IT dept about how to stop the upgrade to windows 10

right now your at the mercy of Microsoft roll back to the previous version of windows if problems arise

1. Do not upgrade to Win 10.

2. By showing how much it will also cost to upgrade to Inventor 2016.

If you intend to stay on an old release - I recommend that you purchase a couple of old machines and put them in the closet for insurance.

Well there's nothing you can do if you don't have an active subscription unless you buy the software.   Not saying Inventor 2011 wouldn't run under Win 10 but there's no support for it.  In addition 2011 is a retired product.

Do you know when your company stopped paying for the subscription?
