Hi, try selecting "number of teeth" below (You should have selected at the beginning in design guide -> center distance )

0.jpg
then select "Feature" to perform the feature on the component you created.
Then check "Calculate" -> and then "OK" (you should have selected the cylindrical face of the part and the front plane of the tooth) Then advance in the boxes until you accept accept you should be able to perform the gear.

I hope this helps. regards

Hi Sergio... Thanks for your efforts, it solved the problem, but what are the guide lines that made you select No. of teeth in the bottom of menu and center distance in Design guide field?.. is it a trail and error or there is something I missed?.. another question: why I can't make the couple of gears in one design menu? i.e. gear 1 and gear 2 in one menu so I guarantee full match ? you see when I select internal in the beginning I can not enter the tooth no. of the second gear which is 62 correctly .. it forces me to get it's own no. some thing like 30 which is wrong.. there also a red note saying: Design: tool tip is truncated.. what's wrong?

Finally.. I appreciate your help.. you made my day..

Thanks.
