Installing Inventor 2017 without internet

Hey autodesk community,

So i have a computer that has inventor 2017 on it, and i need inventor 2017 on my other computer too. But the Wi-Fi at my house is too slow to download it. I was wondering if there was a way to install it on my other computer using files from my first computer, by copying them onto a thumb drive, and then installing it on my new computer. I have the 3 files saved to my OneDrive ... and I open my OneDrive on the pc I need and download it.

It's to big for most USB's, so you'll need an external hard drive.

That's the problem. I can't download it from drop box either. Internet is too slow.

I am confused.

you should already have these three compressed install files downloaded - no need to download again.

Are you a student?

If so, can you ask your instructor for loan of USB with the 3 compressed install files?

2 different pc's ...and basically no WI-FI / internet at his house ..

how does he get the 3 files from his 1 pc to the other pc

USB thumb drive is the way we do it around here.

Works like a charm.  (Even looks like a charm.)

Install in 30-day trial mode until access to internet can be obtained to Activate the license. (don't need a fast connection for activation)

I know that I'm a little late to the party (as usual).. 

You indicated, slow WIFI at your house...  Why can't you just plug directly (hard-wire) into your router?  I would never recommend downloading over WIFI..  Hard wire your machine and download it that way...
