Insert Object Issues

Hello,

When I go to insert an object (image) into a 2D Sketch within Inventor 24, the file coverts from JPEG/PNG to an HTML, and does not render when I press OK. Nothing happens.

Even if I try to save a picture into a Word Doc, it recognizes the file format and the cursor blue circle spins for a minute, but nothing displays. 

I have tried accessing files from different locations / folders on my local drive, and that did not change the outcome.

I have also had issues inserting objects (PDFs) into Inventor DWG files.

Thanks for the advice re: how to correct these issues.

What is the "object"?

Which file format?  JPEG? PNG?

Where was the "object"?

Can you zip and attach the "object" here?

Use Insert image in sketch:

Thanks for the suggestion. This does work to add the image to the sketch. I am still confused why inserting an object does not work, though.
