What is CST 2017 (link please)?

Is this an Autodesk product?

Export as ACIS (*.sat) v7.

*.stl is generally worthless except for 3D printing.

Hi! Is it https://www.cst.com/products/csts2/impexp? Can it export as STEP or SAT? If you export it as STEP, Inventor 2011 should be able to read it. If you want to export it as SAT file, make sure set export version to Acis 7, like JD mentioned here.

Many thanks!

Hi! You should be able to use Open command -> change file type to STEP.

Many thanks!
