Hi, I've done some searching around, on this subject before I decided to actually register and ask and didnt turn anything up, I could just be blind, but I dont see anything. What im looking for, simply put, is an iLogic trigger (I believe that this is the only wasy to fire an iLogic rule) *or some other way* of firing an iLogic rule, upon placement of a drawing view in the drawing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank Ya's!

You might want to ask this question on the Inventor Customization board ... I don't see it being a problem. I'm just not great at Ilogic

Hi rzillich,

What you're after is called an iLogic Event Trigger. However, I don't think there is one for view placement, just view changes.

Well, i think it pushes me away from the possibility of doing it the way I'd intended. Unfortunately for me, I think it DOES answer my question, but I should point out that those links contain greatly helpful descriptions of EXACTLY what events trigger the built in iLogic triggers, which id been having a hard time finding, and are not quite as self-explanitory as I'd hoped... So, thank you for your time and help,... I'll keep my fingers crossed that they add it in the future
