iLogic Design Copy 2024 - Broken

Hi All,

I can't be the only one getting these issues with the iLogic Design Copy function in Inventor 2024?

I rename the files in the window and that works, the files rename. But in my assemblies and drawings only some or none of the files update. Which is frustrating as you can imagine.

And feedback on this Inventor team?

I've attached an image to help. See the new name circles in red and the old name of the unchanged files also circles in the file tree still linked to the old files

Are you sure that it isn't just the name in the browser that hasn't changed?

Slow double click on the name and delete it then hit enter with the name blank and see if it comes up the same. It could also be like that in the parts - do you have files for the new parts? See if the name at the top of the browser in the new part is the same as the old one.

Hi Mike,

I did some more playing around with it and I figured it was a desktop connector issue. I was doing a Design Copy from an ACC project to a local folder and that was the issue. I think I encountered this issue before where ACC files aren't purged from the new file. Thanks for the help though!
