Does anybody have any idea what can be done when the IDW will not open?

You can try turning on defer updates or open the
file from the old versions folder.

If you have a system like me sometimes it takes
forever to open a large idw.

I've got the same situation, only a very diligent coworker hosed the .ipt and all the old versions of the .idw right off the network. Just to make sure that no one could repair the mess, he hosed all the old versions of the .ipt, too. The .idw won't open because it references nothing.

I thought Design Assistant would help, but I'm hosed there, too.
