IDW transparent

I have 1 easy question with the option transparent in a  Drawing

Why I can't put my part transparent but in the last drawing I do I can ...

edit base view and uncheck the "associative" box.. on the component tab to the right of the word "view" in the representation section..

Looks like a chain link icon
