idw bug: the finished sketch and sketch in edit mode are different

Hi Everyone,

See attached screen shots. The sketch represents a 3 roll idler. The first screen shot is of a sketch in edit mode, with the ends of the horizontal dashed line constrained to the top edge of the rolls. The second one is what I can see on display after I press "finish sketch". The dashed line is no longer attached to the top of the rolls. It looks like the finished sketch was moved upwards.

Already restarted the system with no luck.

If I delete the sketch and recreate it, the new one works ok. However, this is linked to a parametric model and has an ilogic rule to retrieve a parameter and automatically adjust the horizontal line length (and location), so I don't want to re do it every single time.

Please let me know if you came across this issue before and what can be done.

Thanks,

Gus

What is the 1192 or your sketched line suppose to represent? Can this be an assembly sketch that adapts to the model. Then just "get model sketches" of the assembly and place a dim on the line?
