I create a .ide file which when first saved from the model has extrusion depth which can be automatically added to the drawing - this is great!
BUT if you edit said .ide file (do something or don't actually do anything) and save it the depth info is lost... not so good.
Any work arounds please
Tim

Is this depth dimension a variable? Meaning is it associative to another feature?

I have found by trail and error as a search of all the help has turned up nothing. That by having a sheared sketch which has multi adjustable bore diameters on it I can get the dims from the .ide file as long as this sketch is first one. But if I wish to set up a table driven ifeature you have to edit the .ide file! This is when the depth info disappears.
Is the depth value specified in the ide table?

Regardless whether they are fixed or not, I would put them in the table anyway and see if this resolves the issue.

Hi Tim,
Could you share the ipt file (the iFeature source part file) and the ide file here? Or you can send them to me directly (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com). I would like to understand the behavior better.
Many thanks!
