I have parts suppressed that show up in the idw parts breakdown

I have assemblies built that have parts that only get used on some projects and I am wondering it there is a way to turn them off so they don't turn up in the idw parts breakdown??

Prob best to save as the assembly and have it independent of the standard assembly. You could also use model states if your in the new versions.

If you use model states you can show parts lists without the suppressed parts.

I think this is the same with LOD as well.

Hi Glen,

If the files were migrated to Inventor 2022 or later, this behavior would be expected. You might consider copying the Model State to Design View. In the PartsList, enable Assembly Design View Rep filter. Or you may copy the Model State and delete the migrated one.

If neither works, please share the files here. I would like to understand why suppressed components still show up in the PartsList.

Many thanks!
