In normal part mode picking material is working good also this model was picked abs plastic in part mode.  Part shrinkage isn't shrinking because part not identify material.

Hi

An assembly neutral environment is about...assembly, not parts.
If you want to change the properties of individual components in the assembly environment, you must first select that component.

Hi! Indeed, in an assembly, without no parts selected, the Material dropdown will not show any material style. It is because there is no thing to be assigned a material style to. Select the part in the browser and click on the Material dropdown. The available material styles will be listed.

Many thanks!

Mold Design Environment

Old environment - Select Material would bring up comprehensive list of plastic materials...

See third tool from left in image.  How soon they forget.  Not me, hastened my retirement decision.

Most of the analysis tools were moved out of Mold Design Environment over to Fusion 360 because the tools were not written for 64-bit code.

No longer able to specify plastic material in Inventor (Mold Design).  Have to go over into Fusion 360.
