I used inventor 2017 in my school in my apprenticeship.
I downloaded the Inventor 2017 student-version.
Now the school had to update der version, so all my exams (also my final) are now with Inventor 2020.
I want to practise at home/at my work.
I cant find a way to update my version without deinstalling the old one and reinstall the new one.
I dont want to make a new Account, because my 2 free-downloads are already used.
I cant find anything on the website or the programm.

Very simple process. Just go back here https://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/inventor-professional sign in with your student account and request the 2020 version.

2017 and 2020 are separate programs anyway that require separate installs, you can have multiple versions of inventor installed at the same time.
Anyways you'll likely need to upgrade within the next few months since quiet a few 2017 education licenses will be expiring as they only last 3 years.
Thank u very much, i thought i cant to this, because i already used up my two downloads for my two devices (in this student trial.
I am currently downloading 2020 and I also now have a new serial number.
I expected it to be more difficult, im sorry, but thank u very much
