How to thicken/offset surfaces with high curvature?

I am trying to thicken this with 1mm thickness.

Any workaround or changes that I should do?

What is your ultimate goal here?

basically I want to create blades of a turbine made from those curves.

i array the initial surface and create this.

However trying to thicken would result in this

The surface requires a thickness of at least 1 mm.

if you cut a hole into your loft the size of the shaft to weld the blades to, it should work..

Hi! More than likely the failure is at the tip. No only the tip has high curvature, it is like a singularity. The faces may overlap or self-intersect in that area. I would create a parallel work plane to XY plane. Then trim off the tip. After that, the Thicken/Offset will work.

Many thanks!
