How to Stitch/Join to Body?

Hello, I am attempting to join this helmet to the trophy stand in order to 3d print it, but am having trouble stitching it. I made a ruled surface which shows exactly how I want to extend the 3d body to the stand, but do not know how to proceed. Any help appreciated! 🙂

Also worth mentioning this is one part file, but I also have another file as an assembly if that is easier.

Hi! Please make sure the ruled surface are long enough to have clean intersection with the stand. Another possibility is that some small edges were not selected in the ruled surface. As a result, there are small gaps.
