Hi all, i drew this part and i'm having trouble figuring out how to position it at a certain angle, right now if you look at the top view it is straight. how can i make it so that it is slanted  at upwards a little to about 5 deg

Hi,

if you want the part to be rotated, you have three options:

1- start your sketch on a work plane that is rotated to your spec

2-use Direct Edit command and rotate the solid/faces whichever way you like

3-use Move Boies command to move/rotate around any axis you want

Also, you can position the part in an assembly, if applicable, so how its modeled is irrelevant to how it's assembled, you can use constraints in an assembly to properly orient the part as desired.

Hope this helps

Ali
