How to edit assembly fast

Hello,

could anyone advise me how to edit assembly fast? I have assembly which i want to divide and remove second part of assembly. Unfortunately, it is more than 700 Solids. I dont want to delete them one by one.

I wonder if it is possible to reduce hardware demands of this assembly.

Thanks for any advice.

What you're showing is not an assembly, it is a part file with multiple solids (695 of them, to be exact!).

There is no window select, unfortunately, but if your solid bodies are arranged in some logical order, you can multi-select in the browser, as you have shown in your screen shot (shift-click and ctrl-click).

I have done the same thing with imported files, and it can be quite tedious.

Sounds like something for the ideastation..

I HATE it when I find portions of Inventor where you can't window select... just silly..

applying constraints is another area where window select SHOULD be there..
