How to create the following 3D extrusion

I'm a relatively new user of Autodeks program and I'm not quite familiar with all it's tools and features. I'm having difficulty creating the following 3D object that I attache and I'm out of ideas. Any help would be much appreciated!

Is this homework, or a school assignment?

There are numerous ways to create this part. It might seem complicated to you at the moment, but once you get used to the thought process and get the experience under your belt, you'll look back on this post as say "what the heck? Easy Peasy".

I take it this is for a school assignment? Homework maybe? Seeing the "Exercise 1.9", I'd kinda think it is.

Probably the easiest way to describe it in words is create the middle, angled section first, then create one of the end "walls", then mirror that "end wall", done.

Or you could create the entire 40x60x80 block and then "cut out" the angled portion, done.

Like others are showing ( I didn't post a model, as I didn't know if it was homework or a school assignment)

I left the plane on so you can see I made it and then I made a sketch on it and extruded the area I wanted to remove...

I think I went even less helpful route by not even showing a pic, just words. I too didn't want to be doing the homework/schoolwork assignment for him.

Oh well.
